Want to take your Nespresso® format capsules on the road? One thing first: the Rolling Roast Nomad isn't a Nespresso machine. The Nomad works with capsules in Nespresso format (and Dolce Gusto® format), plus ground coffee.

If you want to use those capsules away from home, a portable espresso machine for that format is often more practical. Your branded machine at home simply stays where it is.

What “format-compatible” does and doesn't mean

It does mean:

• Nespresso-compatible capsule format
• Dolce Gusto-compatible capsule format
• Freshly ground coffee (up to 8 g)

It doesn't mean:

• An official Nestlé product
• Brand logos or trade dress on the machine
• “Your Nespresso” as a product claim

So it works with capsules in Nespresso format and Dolce Gusto format (including capsules from brands such as Nespresso, Dolce Gusto or Starbucks in those formats), plus ground coffee.

The Nomad is a battery-powered portable espresso machine: format compatibility, not an official branded machine.

3-in-1 away from home

With one device you switch between capsule and ground coffee. Handy in the car or the campervan, or at an office without a decent vending machine.

At the office, for example: on your coffee break you simply use the capsules you already have at home.

Thanks to that 3-in-1 approach, you take the Nomad along with the capsules you already know (in Nespresso or Dolce Gusto format), or with ground coffee.
