The Rolling Roast Nomad is a battery-powered 3-in-1 portable espresso machine. You take it along in the car or the campervan, to the office and outdoors. The Nomad works with capsules in Nespresso® format and Dolce Gusto® format (including capsules from brands such as Nespresso, Dolce Gusto or Starbucks in those formats), plus ground coffee.

So you have one portable espresso machine, and you pick how to brew each cup.

Take an ordinary workday, for example: an espresso as your morning coffee at the office or on site, and another one during your break or between two lectures. On top of that, it comes along on vacation or a day trip.

What is 3-in-1?

The 3 in 3-in-1 stands for what you can put in it:

• Nespresso-compatible capsule format
• Dolce Gusto-compatible capsule format
• Ground coffee (up to 8 g)

It isn't an “official Nespresso machine”. The Nomad matches the format, not the brand.

How to brew espresso

Put in a capsule or ground coffee and add water. Then press the on/off button twice to heat up, and hold it for 2 seconds. That's how the controls work. There's no one-touch and no “adjustable brew strength”.

Who is it for?

No power outlet where you are? Then a battery-powered portable espresso machine is the logical step up from vending machine coffee. It suits:

• At the office instead of the vending machine
• Anyone who wants to switch between capsules and ground coffee

You don't need a power outlet. The battery is rechargeable and the machine is compact, so you can brew fresh espresso on your commute, at the campsite or during a day in the city.
